It is a truth universally acknowledged (I am channelling Jane Austen today!), that as soon as a mom and a new born find some kind of rhythm in their daily routine, everything changes. The baby has a growth spurt or something and all your wonderful knowledge about the baby’s eating/sleeping/crying patterns makes no difference. Having said that, for the past week we’ve managed to put Emma down at around 9 o’clock every night and she wakes me up anything between 4 and 5 in the morning. Dare I say: By George, I think she's got it!
Thanks, Rudolph for this card :-)
