2014 - 17/52

"A portrait of my children, once a week, every week, in 2014."

My computer was in for repairs, so this week I am back posting the portraits.

Daniel: The last traces of our baby boy are fast becoming a memory – I note that the teddy bear is being left behind now when he comes in for an early-morning cuddle. The boy that has sprouted before our eyes is happy, healthy, loving, good-natured, inquisitive and capable of the most elaborate flights of fantasy known to man.

Emma: time marches on for this little girl. Her bald patches as a baby has made way for an unruly mop of wispy hair (good luck to the poor soul who attempts the first cut!) and she’s suddenly discovered a will of her own – and quite a strong one at that! Her smile still lights up an entire room, and as she gets closer to walking I just have this feeling that we are about to live with a little whirlwind for a while…
