A portrait - 18/52

Inspired by my all-time favourite blog (see here), I’ve decided to join the group of people who publish a portrait of their children once a week for 52 weeks. This specific project was started by Jodie from the blog Che and Fidel. Her idea is to capture photos that will tell the story of her children’s year, capturing their amazing growth and all the changes that happen in front of one’s eyes.

I am a bit unsure how I will choose just one image, but I am also convinced that in some weeks of the year my camera will gather dust and taking the photos will feel a bit like a chore. I am pretty sure, though, that the grannies will keep me on my toes so that they can get their weekly updates!

"A portrait of my children, once a week, every week, in 2013."

Emma: She is now three weeks old and her life exists of sleeping and eating. Her day and night are swapped around and she keeps her parents up at night!

Daniel: We attended a birthday party on Saturday for our friends’ 7-year old twins . They have a toy camera and, probably copying his mom, Daniel took tons of photos of the two cakes. Moving forward and backwards, positioning his camera so that he get different angles, my little photographer-in-the-making just stole my heart.
