A (6-year old) boy’s perspective

This weekend my sister came to visit. We had a very full weekend exploring Pretoria (lots of non-baby blogs to follow!), going for lunch in Parkhurst and lazing in the park. She helped with Emma (practice for when her baby is due in the beginning of next year), played with Daniel and generally just brightened the place with her presence, as she tends to do.

During one of her conversations with Daniel, he took it upon himself to educate her a bit on new babies. He told her all about breast pads, the types of dirty nappies you have to clean and the (apparent) need for baby sleeping bags. But my favourite piece of advice was that she must realise that a baby needs milk every four hours and for that she will need a rocking chair and “an iPad, otherwise you will become bored”!
