A Portrait - 37/52

"A portrait of my children, once a week, every week, in 2013." 

Emma: she is now 5 months old, weighs 5.3kg and is 62cm tall. All of a sudden she has so much more control over her hand movements and is able to grab things more accurately, including her new favourite toy, her toes! She still beams at everyone in her sight, but seems to have a very special smile just for her dad. And reading the expression on her face, her brother’s non-stop talking seems to entertain her.

Daniel: he is now 6 years and almost 2 months old, weighs 18kg and is 1.12m tall. He is a talker and his favourite word at the moment seems to be “hilarious”! But as my father in law describes it: he puts his brain in neutral and lets his tongue idle! In between the non-stop chatter he makes very sharp observations and is a compassionate kid. We’re very proud of him.
