1 / 2015 Week 1 portrait

It's a new year and time for a new series of portraits. Looking back at last year, I lost momentum towards the end of the year, but in retrospect, the photos that I took and posted here were such a blessing. I ended up using my iPhone a lot, posting to Instagram, but in the convenience of whipping out my phone when I was out and about, I feel that I missed out on the joy of capturing moments with my big camera.  So, here is to a new year...

I'll still link to Jodie's weekly portrait project on Practising Simplicity, but only with portraits of Emma. She is still home with me during the day and the two of us have more time to play around with my camera. In case you are one of the grandmothers reading this, do not despair, Daniel will still made an appearance from time to time :-)!
