Emma: we’ve been very chuffed telling everyone about our friendly, laid-back girl. Well, it turns out that this is all very conditional – on Friday she was left alone with a baby-sitter for the first time and gave our friend such a hard time that eventually she had to park poor Daniel in Emma’s field of vision at all times just to have some peace. The conclusion? Well, it could either be that our sweet little girl has a dark side :-) - or it could be the explanation I prefer: that she feels extremely loved, comfortable and secure when she is around ‘her people’…
Daniel: this fairly spooky Instagram photo of Daniel was taken during a power outage. He is normally afraid of the dark, but he had great fun walking around the house with one of our Consol Solar Jars.

These are wonderful - We have a wonderfully happy and "laid-back" baby girl as well but I'm always wondering if or when we'll see a different side to her! ;-)
